Hardwick Hall, is a spectacular Elizabethan house that was built by ‘Bess of Hardwick’, Countess of Shrewsbury between 1590 and 1597. The Hall is home to Europe’s finest collection of 16th and 17th-century embroideries and tapestries.

Ceremonies take place in the Entrance Hall, with its spectacular carved fireplace, Elizabethan tapestries and the Hardwick coat of arms.

Ceremonies take place on Fridays between April and October, and on Saturdays and Sundays at selected times.

The West Colonnade is available for drinks receptions. The Great Kitchen Restaurant is available for full-catered receptions. For larger receptions the ‘Wine Glass’ is available for marquee hire.
