Description: A uniquely interesting and attractive venue with the backdrop of a really beautiful medieval manor house. No more than 40 minutes' drive from Central London. The Great Barn was built in the mid-19th century and can seat up to 170 people. The restoration is to the highest standard. The beautiful wooden floor is marvellous for dancing. For larger weddings the barn can be extended with an attached marquee. This venue is licensed for Civil Weddings for up to 170 guests in the Barn or up to 120 in the Animal Engine House (120 standing, or 60 seated and 30 standing, or 75 seated). It is also now possible to have an outdoor wedding in the courtyard at Lillibrooke. The hexagonal Animal Engine House, where the horses used to create the power for working machinery within the barn, is a great deal prettier than its name implies! Decked out with hanging baskets and flowers, it is a charming, unusual setting for some unique photographs. This characterful venue is surrounded by the walled garden of a vineyard and a drinks reception may be held in the pretty Courtyard with its central fountain if the weather is fine.
