Approached down a tree-lined avenue leading through a screen of arches, this fabulous venue has a rare charm, quintessentially English. The house has passed by family descent since 1559.

Additional details: The magnificent high-vaulted Barn is a unique and private venue with its own orchard and gardens enclosed by picket fencing. The Barn is at the entrance to the house and grounds at the former stable yard and also has a separate bar area and intimate dance floor. The Barn is most suitable for functions for between 60 and 140 guests. If you prefer to have a marquee on the lawn close to the house, the East Lawn with its old walls and herbaceous borders is available for functions for up to 600 guests. Winter weddings in marquees are possible too, on the East Lawn or on hard standing in the Walled Garden. You can view photographs of some of these venues on our web-site. We do not take commission or make a charge for corkage.
Directions by public transport: Nether Winchendon House is 3 1/2 miles from Haddenham and Thame Parkway Station on the Chiltern Railways service between London Marylebone (approx 50 mins) and Birmingham Snow Hill (approx 100 mins).
Directions by car: We are approximately 18 miles from Junction 9 and 11 miles from Junction 6 of the M40 and 6 miles from Aylesbury via the A41. We are approximately 20 miles from Oxford and 10 miles from Bicester.
