Description: Celebrate your wedding or civil partnership in the Florence Hall, at the Royal Institute of British Architects. The Florence Hall is a truly unique and prestigious venue. The RIBAs largest and most richly decorated room, refurbished by Conran & Partners, will add elegance and grandeur to your special occasion. Vast floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with daylight, and stunning etched glass doors open out onto a delightful roof terrace. Our roof terrace provides a beautiful open area to accompany the Florence Hall. The First Floor Landing, one of the grandest and most social spaces in the building, extends around the marble staircase and provides an ideal setting for a drinks reception. Its high ceilings and long windows give a feeling of splendour and spaciousness whilst its grand piano can provide the perfect accompaniment to your arrival. The Florence Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner with dance floor. If you wish to have a standing reception, there is room for up to 400 guests. The venue and catering teams have vast special-event experience with a focus on excellence. A dedicated venue manager and catering manager will provide you with as much assistance as you require with the planning of your important day. We can recommend or book suppliers for all those important details such as flowers, music, entertainment, cakes and decorations.

Additional details: The Royal Institute of British Architects' (RIBA) HQ 66 Portland Place, which was designed and built for RIBA, is one of the best examples of 1930s architecture and as such has a Grade II listing from English Heritage.
Directions by public transport: Underground stations - Great Portland Street station - 4 minute walk (Circle, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan Lines), Oxford Circus station - 7 minute walk (Bakerloo, Victoria and Central Lines), Regents Park - 5 minute walk (Bakerloo Line). The national rail stations of Paddington, Euston and King's Cross are all nearby and just a few minutes journey by taxi.
